Desai’s academic credentials include an electrical engineering degree from IIT Bombay and an MBA from the University of Michigan, which, along with his early experience at TCS, laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial journey.
Starting from modest beginnings in 1980, Syntel evolved into a global IT consulting leader, culminating in its acquisition by Atos SE for USD 3.4 billion and contributing to Desai’s net worth of USD 1.6 billion.
