IIT Bombay is launching two innovative courses in July 2025—a BS in Applied Geophysics and an M.Tech in Climate & Sustainability—to meet today’s evolving educational needs.
At its interim 63rd Convocation, IIT Bombay awarded 354 degrees (including 219 PhDs, 36 E-MBAs, and 6 inaugural MDP degrees), fast-tracking graduates into future opportunities.
Prof. Shireesh Kedare celebrated the institute’s journey from 2,500 students in 1965 to nearly 14,000 today, emphasizing its shift from core engineering to cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields like AI and sustainable energy.
